Kit Knotts photos: In 1994, Perry Slocum provided and installed plants in the new ponds at Merritt Island Ace Hardware and Garden Center. 'Red Cup' and 'Red Flare' grew in separate pools. Pam and Dick Beal gave me small plants of each directly from the pools, which I have grown continuously from tuber since that time. Both have been verified as correct by numerous experts.
